01
Professional Focus
Her work brings clinical information into the practical context of parenting responsibilities, children’s best interests, co-parenting relationships, and court orders.
Her practice now focuses on evaluation, consultation, independent review, and professionally managed abstinence-verification services.
Colleen has served as a professional Soberlink monitor since 2014 and consults on the development of monitoring plans, interpretation of results, and responses to disputed or incomplete compliance.
Professional Background
Before concentrating her practice on evaluation, consultation, and monitoring, Colleen served as a program director and manager of an outpatient chemical-dependency treatment program specializing in stimulant addiction. Her background also includes clinical supervision of program staff, outpatient program consultation, assessment, intervention, and direct clinical work.
She has taught relapse prevention and substance-use coursework at John F. Kennedy University, California State University, Hayward, and Saint Mary’s College. This combined experience informs her ability to distinguish treatment needs from the neutral, evidence-supported questions presented in family-law matters.
